Data Collection
We collect personal information from our members when they register for an account, enroll in courses, and use our platform's features. This information includes, but is not limited to, name, email address, phone number, payment information, and other information provided by the member. In addition to this, we may collect data related to the member's CV or resume when they upload it to our platform for scoring using an AI-based algorithm.
1.1 Data from users
Registration
In order to establish an account, it is necessary to collect personal information such as your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password. In the event that you choose to enroll in a premium service, it will be required to provide payment infromation (such as credit card) and billing particulars.
Profile
You retain the discretion to determine the information displayed on your profile, including your education, work experience, skills, photo, city or area, and endorsements. While it is not mandatory to provide supplementary information on your profile, doing so can enhance your experience with our Services by increasing your visibility to recruiters and business opportunities. The decision to include sensitive information on your profile and to make it accessible to the public rests solely with you. We advise against posting or adding personal data to your profile that you do not wish to be publicly available.
Posting and Uploading
We collect personal data from you when you provide, post or upload it to our Services, such as when you complete a form (such as by submitting demographic data or salary information), participate in personality assessment and survey, or submit a job application or resume through our Services. If you decide to import your address book, we will receive your contacts, including contact information that your service provider(s) or app automatically added to your address book when you communicated with addresses or numbers not already in your list.
By syncing your contacts or calendars with our Services, we may collect your address book and calendar meeting information to facilitate the expansion of your network by suggesting connections for you and others, providing information about events such as times, places, attendees, and contacts, and to improve our Services.
We understand the importance of protecting your personal data and are committed to handling it with the utmost care and respect for individual privacy. We comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations and take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy.
AI CV Scoring
We collect personal information and data related to a member's CV or resume, as well as data related to their personality traits, to provide an AI-based algorithm that accurately scores the document based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and personality traits. Personality assessments may include questions related to communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. We will only disclose this data to third-party service providers with the member's consent or as required by law. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information and data provided by our members and users, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the use of personality assessments for employment purposes.
1.2 Data From Others
Contact and Calendar Information We may obtain personal data, including contact information, about you when other users import or sync their contacts or calendar with our Services, associate their contacts with Member profiles, scan and upload business cards, or send messages through our Services such as invites or connection requests. Additionally, if you or other users choose to sync email accounts with our Services, we will collect "email header" information that we can link to Member profiles.
Content and News
Our Services allow you and other users to share content, including articles, posts, comments, and videos, that may contain information about you. We may also collect public information about your professional-related news and achievements and include it as part of our Services. With your permission, we may even notify other users when you are mentioned in the news.
Partners
Your personal data, such as your job title and work email address, may be obtained when you utilize the services of our customers and partners, such as employers, prospective employers, and applicant tracking systems that provide us with job application data.
Related Companies and Other Services
We may obtain data about you through other services offered by us or our affiliates, including Microsoft. If you choose to provide us with information about your contacts in Microsoft apps and services, such as Outlook, we may use that data to enhance your professional networking activities on our Services.
1.3 Service Use
We maintain a record of your usage data each time you access or utilize our Services, including our website, application, and platform technologies. This data is collected when you interact with content, such as learning videos or advertisements, on or off our sites and apps, perform searches, install or update our mobile apps, or share articles and apply for jobs.
To identify you and keep track of your usage, we utilize log-ins, cookies, device information, and internet protocol (“IP”) addresses.
1.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
As outlined in our Cookie Policy, we utilize cookies and similar technologies such as pixels and ad tags to gather data, such as device IDs, in order to identify you and your device(s) across a variety of services and devices where you have interacted with our Services. Additionally, we allow certain third parties to use cookies in accordance with our Cookie Policy.
If you are located outside of the Designated Countries, we may also collect information about your device, such as your ad ID, IP address, operating system, and browser information, even if you have not directly engaged with our Services. This data allows us to provide relevant ads to our Members and better understand their effectiveness.
We provide you with the option to opt-out of our use of data gathered from cookies and similar technologies that track your behavior on other sites for ad targeting and related purposes. Visitors can access these controls here.
1.5 Device and Location
When you use our Services, including certain plugins and cookies or similar technologies on external sites, we receive information about the URL of the site you visited prior to and after using our Services, as well as the time of your visit. We also collect data about your network and device, such as your IP address, proxy server, operating system, web browser and add-ons, device identifier and features, cookie IDs, ISP, or your mobile carrier.
If you access our Services through a mobile device, the device will transmit location data based on your phone settings. We will request your permission before using GPS or other tools to pinpoint your precise location.
1.6 Messages
We gather data about you when you interact with messages in relation to our Services. This includes when you send, receive, or engage with messages. For instance, if you receive a connection request on TeenShare, we monitor whether you have responded to it and may send reminders.
Furthermore, we incorporate automatic scanning technology into our messages to facilitate and safeguard our site. This technology enables us to recommend potential replies to messages and to manage or restrict content that breaches our User Agreement or Professional Community Policies from our Services.
1.7 Sites and Services of Others
When you log in with TeenShare or use others' services that incorporate some of our plugins (such as "Apply with TeenShare") or our ads, cookies, or similar technologies, we obtain data about your interactions and visits with those services.
1.8 Workplace and School Provided Information
If your employer or school purchases our Services for your use, they may provide us with personal data about you and your eligibility to access the Services. This information is intended for use by their workers, students, or alumni.
For instance, we may receive contact information for "Company Page" administrators or authorized users of our premium Services, such as our recruiting, sales, or learning products.
1.9 Other
We regularly introduce new features to our dynamic Services, which may necessitate the collection of new information. In the event that we collect substantially different personal data or significantly alter how we collect, use, or distribute your data, we will inform you and may also revise this Privacy Policy.

Information Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information provided by our members with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose personal information to third-party service providers that assist us in providing our platform's services and features, such as payment processors, hosting services, and customer support services. We may also disclose personal information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes, or to enforce our platform's policies. We may disclose AI CV scoring data to third-party service providers that assist us in providing the AI-based algorithm for scoring CVs or resumes, but we will not disclose this data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Information Security
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information provided by our members from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee the security of personal information transmitted through our platform, and members assume the risk of transmitting personal information to us. Similarly, we take reasonable measures to protect AI CV scoring data collected through our platform, but cannot guarantee the security of this data.

Data Retention
We retain personal information provided by our members for as long as necessary to provide our platform's services and features, and as required by applicable laws and regulations. Even if you only use our Services when looking for a new job every few years, we will retain your information and keep your profile open, unless you close your account. We may retain AI CV scoring data for a longer period of time to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the AI-based algorithm over time. In some cases we choose to retain certain information (e.g., insights about Services use) in a depersonalized or aggregated form.
4.1 Rights to Access and Control Your Personal Data
We offer a variety of options regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your data. These include the ability to delete or correct data that you have included in your profile, control the visibility of your posts, opt-out of advertising, and manage communication preferences.
We provide you with settings that enable you to control and manage the personal data that we possess about you.
For personal data that we have about you, you can:

Delete Data: You can ask us to erase or delete all or some of your personal data (e.g., if it is no longer necessary to provide Services to you).

Change or Correct Data: You can edit some of your personal data through your account. You can also ask us to change, update or fix your data in certain cases, particularly if it’s inaccurate.

TeenShare (“we” or “us”) can modify this Privacy Policy, and if we make material changes to it, we will provide notice through our Services, or by other means, to provide you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If you object to any changes, you may close your account.
You acknowledge that your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to this Privacy Policy means that the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, as of its effective date.

Terms of Service
The terms of service include this privacy policy, the service agreement, mentor guidelines, and other guidelines and policies published by the platform from time to time. The terms of service also cover information or announcements published on the platform, affiliated third-party websites, or other authorized platforms.

Eligibility
In compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in Hong Kong, we aim to obtain parental or guardian consent before collecting personal information from minors. To ensure compliance, our company targets individuals who are 16 years of age or older for the collection of personal information. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information and data provided by our users, and we comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data in Hong Kong.

Information Use
We use personal information provided by our members to provide and improve our platform's services and features, to process payment transactions, to communicate with members, and to enforce our platform's policies. In addition, we use the data collected through AI CV scoring to provide members with feedback on their CV or resume, and to help them improve their chances of finding suitable employment or opportunities.

Member Policy
Members are expected to abide by the user policy, which includes:
- Keeping their Teenshare account secure and not sharing it with third parties
- eviewing all notifications and announcements made available by the platform
- Being responsible for their electronic devices and internet access
- Respecting the mentor's intellectual property rights
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Communicating openly and honestly
- Taking responsibility for their own learning and development
- Maintaining a professional relationship with the mentor
The platform reserves the right to terminate or suspend member accounts and modify the terms and conditions of the agreement and policies at any time without prior notice, incase of violation of the user policy or engagement in inappropriate or unethical behavior.
Teaching Service Agreement:
You understand and agree that the teaching service agreement is to be entered into between a student member and a mentor member, and that Teenshare is neither a party to the teaching service agreement with the student member nor the mentor member. Teenshare cannot control a student's selection of a mentor or the teaching materials and timetables of a mentor. Teenshare cannot guarantee that any specific mentor member will continue providing their education services through this platform.
However, Teenshare will assist in clarifying and facilitating the process should any dispute occur between student members and mentor members. You understand and agree that Teenshare shall not be liable for any conduct of any of its members, and that members are not employees or agents of Teenshare. Members shall not act on behalf of this platform without its written consent.

Mentee and Mentor Guidelines
By becoming a mentor member, you agree to be subject to the terms and conditions set forth under the mentor guidelines. This platform reserves the right to decide whether to conclude the service agreement with members or particular member(s).
As a Mentee, you shall agree to abide by the ethical and moral standards set forth by the Mentor, and shall respect the Mentor's intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. You shall not reproduce, distribute, or use any of the Mentor's materials without their written consent.
As a Mentor, you shall agree to provide educational services in a professional and ethical manner, to maintain confidentiality, and to respect the Mentee's intellectual property rights. You shall not engage in any inappropriate or unethical behavior, and shall promptly address any concerns or complaints raised by the Mentee or the platform.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This privacy policy and the service agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform is located. Any dispute arising from or relating to this privacy policy or the service agreement shall be resolved through confidential and binding arbitration, unless prohibited by applicable law.
